Product Description
Commonly known as Ebbing’s Silverberry, Elaeagnus features leathery, elliptical leaves that emerge silver before maturing to a lustrous dark green with silvery-gray undersides. Clusters of fragrant, bell-shaped flowers open on its delicate branches in late fall, followed by small orange-red fruits in spring. Elaeagnus adapts to a wide variety of soils and stands up to salt, wind, and pests. Ideal for planting as a hedge, windbreak, privacy screen, or barrier, it adapts well to pruning and makes an excellent choice for mixed borders and foundations.
